Applicants using the Stockholm mission should combine the national DTV framework with the embassy’s current jurisdiction and e-Visa instructions. Recheck all details before payment because fee and evidence guidance can change.
Mission requirements can change. Confirm the responsible mission and live official guidance immediately before submission and payment.
Confirm Stockholm covers you
The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm states that visa applicants from Sweden and Latvia use the online Thai e-Visa platform. Its page also says applicants should have current residence in Sweden or Latvia and that passport holders residing elsewhere should apply through the responsible mission for their residence.
Enter names carefully
The Stockholm embassy warns that names must follow the passport order and provides transliteration guidance for Swedish characters: Å as AA, Ä as AE and Ö as OE. Follow the live form and embassy instruction rather than improvising.
Prepare the post-August documents
In addition to identity, financial and purpose-specific evidence, verify the permanent-residence and criminal-record-clearance requirements effective from 31 August 2026. Confirm which Swedish or Latvian documents the mission accepts and whether translation is needed.
Final pre-submit check
Confirm you are outside Thailand, the selected mission is correct, every file is readable, names and dates match, the financial threshold is evidenced, and the latest Stockholm fee and processing guidance have been checked. Save a copy of the final submission.
